We woke up this morning to a very special surprise! We had a visitor and he brought lots of yummy treats :) First we read a letter from Santa himself explaining about our visitor and why he has come to stay with us. We also had to think of a cool name to give him so he could tell all his elf friends when he returns to the North Pole. The boys got new colouring books and a new Christmas story book to read before bed. They also got Santa mugs filled with candy, Santa hat brownies, candy cane milkshakes and loads of swirly North Pole marshmallow's.

Next the kids named our elf.. We went through some silly names like snowman and poopy pants before settling on a name Mason thought of 'Doxy' with his own special nick name of 'Doc'. Doc had his own letter for us to read. He told us how he fly's back to the North Pole every night to report to Santa about how naughty or nice we have been. He can hear and see everything we do so we should always be on our best behaviour. He has special Elf magic too and you can never touch him or he might lose his magic :(

This is what we woke up to :) How beautiful and christmasy!!

We had lots of fun meeting 'Doc' and can't wait to see what he gets up to while he is here :)

It's hot here today so our Santa hats were melting!! I guess they don't have that problem in the North Pole though. Mason was enjoying yummy candy canes mmm!

It's been a while.. a long while..

Hello Hello,

Gosh its been forever since i've blogged anything :( This year has been pretty full on and unfortunatly I haven't been all that creative with scrapbooking. I've done heaps of crochet and been focusing on my kids, photography, rabbits (yes real rabbits) I am starting my own rabbitry with these adorable creatures. I have always been a huge animal lover infact I don't think I have ever been petless hehe.

So my wonderful fiance and my boys are doing well. In 8 weeks time Jayden is starting Primary School!!! I can't believe it and im going to be so lost at home without him here. Mason is off to Kindy next year so the upside is I get two full days to myself each week :) Gotta be happy about that.

Can't believe Christmas is almost here only 16 sleeps eeek! We are off to QLD this year for Christmas to see family and have some fun on the Gold Coast :)

Anywho, I don't have anything planned for the weekend so Im actually going to try attempt some scrapping. I know I've said it before but hopefully I will have something to show before the weekend is over :) xxx

I hope you all got off to a great start in the New Year. I have been feeling fantastic and a whole heap of stress less :) I had Squishy's 1st Birthday party, Christmas and New Years all within 2 weeks! So the last week I have been trying to relax and spend more time with my gorgeous family :)

Hi Followers (If I have any left)

I know I have been shocking at updating my blog.. Just been busy latley and getting stuff organised for Squishy's 1st Birthday Party :) Going to be fun fun fun!

We welcomed a little fur baby into our home almost 3 weeks ago now.. His name is Moxie Cat and he fits in perfectly. He likes to follow the boys around and play all day and I am finding he has started to have naps when Squishy does LOL! Here he is..

Mr Squish is getting BIG and eating soo much.. As you can see in the top photo he has his spoon and nom nom's ready to go :)

Hmm what else.. OHH I have a bit of an addiction to these!

They just look so adorable on Squishy's bum :)

We have been doing some changes to our house.. Put lattace around the bottom of the house and finished the shed. Dad came over and spray painted it for us on the weekend. Looks Great! We went to bunnings and got some paint etc for our lounge room today. Jayden cracked us up in the car. I said "We will go to bunnings and Sam's" well he got all excited and thought we were going to "Bunny's and Santa's" PMSL!!

He doesn't really let me take photo's of him anymore but here he is helping with the yard :)

Mad about Scrapping had a cyber crop last week and I did the blind scrap.. It was fun creating this layout and I felt like I was blind scrapping myself LOL

My Poor Blog

This last month has been the busiest ever for me.. My mind has just been so active and I'm still finding it hard to wind down. At the start of the month we went up to the Gold Coast. First up on the Friday night we all went out for Kirsty's hens night and Blake's Bucks night. Us girls went out for a nice fancy dinner and then into Surfers Paradise to do a scavenger hunt :) The next morning was my darling niece's 1st Birthday party it was just gorgeous and so very very pretty. It was a tea party and there was lots of yummy food and the most adorable cakes/cupcakes :)

Then Sunday was the day of Kirsty and Blake's wedding.. I spent the day capturing special moments and it was a lot of fun but it was also tough. Kirsty looked just stunning in her beautiful wedding dress :) I am still in the process of proofing the wedding photo's but almost done! I don't know how these awesome photographers get out there and do two weddings in a weekend or more. They must spend forever editing.

Well Spring is starting to settle in here and before we know it we will have the aircon running. Look what my little stud muffins were up to yesterday..

It was pretty warm here yesterday and again today.. The kids are loving it! We have already been eating watermelon and icecream outside under the tree and lapping up this nice weather before it gets too hot and we all start complaining again LOL. There was a festival in town on the weekend 'The Ben Hall Festival' Ben Hall was a bush ranger that lived in this town back in the day and at the festival they have gun fire and people dressed up. They even fired a mini cannon it was loud! Jayden got his hair sprayed colours and went for a ride on the pony. I have photo's but haven't had a chance to look at them yet.

On Sunday we went to have a look at the car show and shine. My highlight was finding an awesome red glass jar from back in the 60's it would be lovely as a vase for flowers and I am also going to use it for Mason's Birthday party :) I know its like 2 months away but I know how fast time flys so its best to get organised now right?

I have done a bit of scrapping but nothing I can show just yet.. I will try keep my blog better updated! I hope you have all had a great school holidays break.

First DT Layout!

Hii all you lovely bloggers,

Just wanted to share with you my first DT layout for Mad About Scrappin

I got to play with some fantastic goodies including Memento pattern paper.

Only the second day of Spring and the weather was just gorgeous!! We were even in shirts and shorts today :) We had fun playing out the back in our 'jungle' LOL yeah its a jungle the stupid mower is broken again :( I have had it with it.. I think its time we brought a decent one. Oh well atleast it made for some beautiful shots of my boys..

Don't ya just love the fake smile :) ROFL!

They really have so much love for each other. I feel so lucky to be the mum of these two wonderful boys :)

I have a photo session tomorrow with little 4 week old baby boy Malakai.. I tried to do some photo's the other day but he was wide awake and only crashed for about 2 mins hehe

Hopefully he is a little more sleepy tomorow :) Also I am so excited as my wonderful friend Manda is having her bubba this week (still a suprise) but I am off to visit her in the hospital woohoo!! I am going to be so so clucky so watch out Robert LOL

Well I should head to bed.. not that I want to after watching the most sickning movie ever :( Just a warning to anyone who goes to watch 'The Human Centipede' DONT!

Must Love Dogs AND SPRING!!

HAPPY SPRING!!! to all my Australian friends.. OH YEAH! I am so over all the sickness and sad faces.. It's time for the sun to come out and the kids to be outside playing :)

Here is a layout I created the other night of my adorable Squishy and one of his furry friends..

Mason loves dogs and couldn't get enough of my brothers new dog Cosmo when he brought him home. I got excited when I came up with the idea to quill my letters.. I think it looks so effective :)

While the kids have been sick and I have been stuck out in the lounge room with them I made some crochet beanies for my photography. These are both for little boys and I am in the process of making some girl ones..

The green is a lot brighter then the photo shows.

That's it for now.. I have been studying ALOT preparing myself for our week away.. Have a hens night, 1st Birthday and Wedding to attend not to mention hopefully catching up with a few friends!

A special HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY to my nephew Alexander hoping his day was loaded with happiness :)

8 Months already?

Can't believe it's August and my baby boy is 8 months old today!! It's insanity! He is totally growing up on me.. he pulls himself up on anything he can get hold of and he is getting too smart for his own good. He tries to let go and stand all by himself but he is lucky to have a big brother who helps him get out of sticky situations.. Yepp this big brother is the best! If Mason is stuck somewhere Jayden goes and helps him down and lets him fall onto him every time its the cutest thing :) It's not all sunshine and roses though DF and I went out on the weekend for our 6 year anniversary and Mason screamed the whole time we were gone eeek! I felt so bad because I know his scream and its enough to send you insane! Hopefully it is a phase and passes because he is getting a little too clingy lately. I tried to get some photo's of him today but he just wasn't in the mood for mummy's camera face. LOL I always laugh to myself and think the kids much picture me as having a camera for my face.. Poor things :) So he wasn't happy but I was SO happy with the gorgeous photo I did get!

In other news I got another happy email from Scrapbooking Memories :) I can't wait to see some of my layouts in print. I have emailed two more in today so here is hoping my lucky streak continues. The family seems to be on the mends from all this sickness and flu (touch wood) I am so over it and I am excitedly waiting for spring not only for some warm non sicky weather but for some sunshine so I can get out and practise more of my photography :) No guesses what my big boy has been up to lately..

LOL loves his games.. Now that he is all Ben 10'd out for a while he is playing his Spiderman game again that he got back in April for his birthday. Ohh Ohh his new favorite thing to tell me "Ease up" haha the stuff that comes out of this boys mouth LOL makes me laugh! Well thats about it.. I made my niece an invitation today for her upcoming 1st birthday party the kids are going to have so much fun :) I wont show it yet until they have all been sent out. Well I best go do something productive now that the kids are in bed.

New DT Position and final round for 'Embelish It'

Helllo Bloggers.. from one exhausted mama!!

This week has been full of ups and downs. First of all one massive awesome UP! I am now on the Design Team for Mad About Scrappin.. I am thrilled to have been chosen along with 5 other fantastic scrappers :)

Amanda Lawrence, Leanne Love, Lisa Kamphuis, Louise White and Sandra Wilkinson. Thankyou to Leanne for having me on the team I can't wait to get creating. Here are the two layouts I submitted for my application..

On the next layout I made my own little mini paper flowers :) Aren't they cute!

On a downer the whole family has been sick over the last week :( ARG I hate it.. bring on summer I say! I have always loved the winter but with the kids getting sick so much yuck I don't love it at the moment. Poor DF has had it bad the last few days.. I only just started to get it and I thought I would be bed ridden yesterday but I think I refused to let myself be sick while I completed the final round for "Embelish It' How exciting to make it to the final round and what a relief that it is now completed. When I first seen this weeks challenge I freaked out but I have to admit it was one of the most fun things I have ever created and I just love it to bits :)

This weeks criteria..

Create a single or double page shaped layout - I created my layout based on the kids wooden building blocks.. I used cardboard from my new cooker box and used left over cardstock to cut out block shapes and place in a tower arrangement just like the kids would LOL Once I had the shape I cut off any excess cardboard.

Multiple Photo's - Yepp there is 15 photo's of my boys. I have printed them and cut them to fit inside the building blocks .

Texture, bold colours and three-dimensional elements - I have used bold colours. I used texture stamps on the bigger blocks. I used texture paint on the word 'Blocks' which is cut out of polysyrene. The blue underneath the word fun is a chewing gum wrapper that i crinkled. The words in the green circles are cut out of my baby bounty bag that was on its way to the rubbish. The 'a' in the word Play is a dried out wipe that I had used to clean my stamps.

Collage - My blocks and photo's are collaged together.

Use 10 different recycled items

My 10+ recycled items are:

- Cardboard from my new cooker box

- Chewing gum wrapper in blue under the word fun

- word fun is cut out of cardboard from my breast pad box lol

- Green circle words and heart cut from baby bounty bag

- word 'blocks' is cut from polystyrene from my burger packaging at lunch

- letter 'a' used a dryed wipe that had been used to clean stamps

- clear hearts cut with a punch from a chinese container

- Black tab on the right larger photo is a tab off Mason's nappy

- Some buttons I had lying around

- Yellow tag cut from rhinestone packet

- Left over cardstock

- Cotton ear bud stick that holds the green heart

'Embelish It Competition' Catch Up

Hello Lovelies,

We are home from our holiday.. Our lovely warm holiday :) Sleeping in singlets and undies or nappy :) Mum and Jeff live right on the strand and their unit (which is huge) is so nice and open with a big balcony overlooking the water and cold rock ice creamery is seriously right across the road mmmm. Anywho I just wanted to show you my entries for the last 2 rounds of 'Embelish It'

For week 6 we had to create a card compendium. It had to have 3 example cards and be presented as a gift for someone. We had to use a brought embelishment and add to it or change it in some way. We had to use 2 pattern papers from the same range. I chose to use the packaging from the Tim Holtz embossing folders I had recently brought. I thought the clear packaging would look great as a gift and you would be able to see some of the cards inside :) I used graphic 45 as my pattern paper for the background and for the the paper butterflies. My brought embelishment are the heart pins and I added to them by threading them through cork butterflies and backing them with cut out paper butterflies.

This week I was sure I was going to be dropping out of the competition.. We had only got home Tuesday afternoon and the project was due by Wednesday midnight.. I spent most of yesterday with my sooky Squishy and took him up to the chemist to see if there was something I could put on his face rash. I had also found a lump behind his ear and once I showed them they sent us up to the hospital. Doctor said he has a viral infection which is causing the horrible rash and swollen glands on his head and behind his ears. Nothing much we can do about it but wait for it to go and rub some sorbolene into the rash. So yesterday afternoon when bub was having a sleep I decided I really wanted to give this weeks challange a shot. The criteria is.. use 3 or more inchies, no sticker letters, use one of your favorite quotes as or part of the title, create your own pattern background on cardstock and create a handmade embelishment using material.

My background is stamped using paint.. the white ink just wouldn't show up as good. My inchies are cut out of photo's of Mason, My embelishment is 2 of my crochet flowers with a button and a heart pin. The quote I used is "Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart" This is definatly one of my fav quotes and I think I could use it on heaps of layouts but it sure suits these photo's of baby Mason.

I will be very excited if I make it to the next round.. So many talented girls with great ideas :)

I have lots of photo's to share of our holiday.. I will put a few up here but will put most of them up on my facebook. Lastly I wanted to give a shout out to my lovely friend Lisa Kamphuis who is selling all sorts of adorable flowers over on her blog HERE please pop in and check them out :)

Squishy 7 Months

I can't believe Squishy turns 7 months old tomorrow!! Happy 7 months my gorgeous little man :) I just wanted to share a new photo of him.. He is growing so fast and getting so smart..

Into all kinds of mischief now days. Eats like there is no tomorrow.. Some nights he will eat more then his big brother!! Anything he can get hold of he shoves in his mouth but cords and clothes are his favorite. Poor little bub is still sick at the moment but seems to be getting better :)

We are heading up to Townsville on Sunday morning mmm warm weather here we come LOL Jayden is super excited.. He keeps saying "Mum, I don't love this house. I want to go on our holiday!" haha the cheek. I haven't even started packing so I better get to it. Been changing my blog around today.. Not quiet sure if I like it yet but oh wells :) I think I will take my lappy with me so I should be able to do a blog update while I am away xx

Week 5 - Roll It

Hi Bloggers,

I had loads of fun today creating my layout for week 5 of the 'Embelish It' competition..

The criteria was any shape but square - Check

Monochromatic Colour Scheme - Green with a little bit of brown

Paper Rolling or Quilling - The leaves in the tree

Stamping - The dotted borders, The top squirrel and the 'Nuts for you' wording.

Acetate - I printed a tree texture on acetate then DF drew me the shape of a tree and I stapled the acetate to the drawing and cut it out :)

Thank goodness blogger saves your post as you go :) I had to stop posting to head to scrap night. Had so much fun.. I love creating while chatting away and yes I must admit I probably get more chatting done then scrapbooking. I am very happy with my creations tonight I got 2 layouts done on my lil stud muffin Jayden but they need some finishing touches. One annoying thing about going other places to scrap is you always end up needing something that is at home LOL Oh well I should really go clean my scrap desk and finish them off while Squishy is sleeping.. Poor little man is so unwell the last few days he has a chest infection and teething badly there has been alot of tears :( Not our usual happy bubba.

Week 4 - Vintage It

So happy to have made it to round 4 of the 'Embelish It' Competition. Although I must admit I was a little nervous about the vintage challenge. Once the criteria was up on Friday I became a lot more nervous.. How the hell was I going to use something practical?? Well I came up with a pretty good idea for a nice jewellery box but it was going to cost me a pretty penny and then DF said why not do the wee wee chart I was already planning on making for Jayden. What a clever cookie!! I couldn't get much more practical then that so here it is the Wee Chart for the back of our toilet door, I am hoping it stops Jay form having little accidents and encourages him to go to the toilet more often..

It was hard to get a good photo but if you open up the images you can see it bigger and get a better look at it. The criteria's this week were. Vintage, Creative use of paint and rubbons, lace and ribbon, distressing and something practical. I painted around the outside of the chart and crackled it for the vintage effect. My rubbons are the brown splatters of paint on the green cardstock and the moments circle on the pouch. I used lace and ribbon for the prize tags and lace across the cardstock. I distressed the inside cream frame and inked around the edges. My practical is the chart and there is also an envelope at the bottom that I covered with PP and stitched the outside to make a little pouch to hold the stars/stickers in. I used chipboard for the 'CHART' and painted it brown and then sanded it to give it an aged effect. I cut out children's pictures from Websters pages PP and I used thickers for the 'Job Well Done' title. All the squares are cardstock 1x1 inch and the ones with blue say 'Lollies Lollies Lollies' so they are lucky squares :) One he reaches the end of a row and puts a star on a question mark he will pull out the tag and see what he gets. There are things like New Book, New Toy, Go to the park, Baking and the last one is 'You Pick' so he will get to choose whatever he likes. Can't wait to see it being used we are going to get it laminated first so he can stick the stars on and then wipe them off and reuse it. We will cut into the laminate to slide the tags through and also to access the pouch. Phew! I am eager to see what next weeks challange is and see if I make it though :)

Had a blast at scrap night last night.. I haven't been for a few weeks so it was great to have some time away from home and scrap :) I got 2 layouts done they just need some finishing touches so I will be sharing them soon. Trace has a big scrap day she is organising for the 17th so that will be great if I can make it. We are heading up to Townsvillie on the 18th so it might be cutting it close but if I have everything organised before hand I am sure I could go :)

Mason has decided he will up and grow teeth from every which way all along the top of his gums are white and 2 big fangs have shot fully through lol. Jayden is continuing to parent me each day "Do you understand mum?" "I don't like photo's.. Don't keep taking them.. Give me your camera now" hahaha Oh my he is getting too big for his boots. Not that I should complain too much he is such a huge help with his brother.. He calls him "bubby" too cute :)

Embelish It Week 3 & some Shrek ears..

Hii Bloggers,

This week for the 'Embelish It' competition the criteria was to use hand stitching, felt, beads, doodling and bling on our layouts and also create an embelishment using one or more of the 5 things. My layout is on baby Mason at Easter time wearing his adorable bunny ears..

For the bling I used white and blue Kaiser pearls and placed them on the circled pattern paper..

My journaling is the Peter Cottontail song because for Easter my Mum sent down the cutest little 1st easter bunny who moves and sings the song its so adorable and once you hear it you can't get the song out of your head its soo cute :)

I hand stitched around the border of the little photo's and added some brown and grey beads to each second stitch. For the title's I used thickers for the 'Easter 2010' and 'Bunny' I printed out the letters on photo paper and sanded over the top of them and then raised them with foam dots.

I doodled around the outside of the layout with lines and crosses.. For my embelishment I cut a bunny shape out of felt and hand stitched around the outside. I then got a cotton wool ball and sewed it to the bum for a little cotton tail :)

So what's been happening this week?? I have been hearing the word 'Mum' non stop coming out of Squishy's mouth.. Yes its really cute but it also gives everyone an excuse to always pass him to me LOL! No honestly DF has been such a great help at home latley he plays with the kidlets often and it gives me a good break to get housework done, cook, scrapbook and do blog updates :) You don't really realise it but it takes some time to do these updates and get the photo's up and ramble on hehe. Eclipse came out last night at cinema's and I can't wait to go see it.. We are going to the movies on Saturday night and I can't decide between Eclipse and Toy Story 3.. The cinema's is an hour and a half away for us so its hard to leave the kids with someone and pop down the movies for 2 hours.. Most the time we go to the late one and take them with us. Mason snuggles up in the carrier and sleeps the whole time.

We went down to Macca's on Tuesday night and DF conned the manager into selling us some Shrek ears that you normally have to win by buying the apples instead of fries in the happy meals.. The kids love them and have been wearing them for the last 2 days.. I am susprised that Mason leaves them on his head but they are so cute..

Well I am off to make some chicken snitchel and vegies for lunch.. I think I have some black banana's too so banana muffins sound good :)

Embelish It - week 2

This week for the 'Embelish It' Competition we had a 'hybrid' challenge.. We had to use: Cool Colours - Check, Paint - I got out my handy wire mesh again this week and placed it all around the outside of my background pattern paper and painted white paint over the top, Flower - I used a few antique prima flowers, Title - My title is printed out and I hand sewed swirls over the top, Hybrid Embelishment - I printed out digital pattern paper in triangles and did the bunting along the top, I also printed out the vintage clock and painted it with gesso and crackle medium.. The crackle didn't really work that well but I was happy with the way it looked.

We took our baby Mason to see the kidney specialist yesterday over at Orange.. They are going to continue to monitor him for the next few years and see how they go. The right kidney is normal now and it is just the left that is enlarged but they are both functioning well so we are totally relieved.. Hopefully within a few years time they will both be at normal sizes for his age :) We were told if the left kidney was to get bigger he would just be put on antibiotics but he is weeing fine LOL so all good :)

What did you do today? Our day was a lounge about at home day :) Just some jumping and playing and yummy food.. DF played some 'little big planet' on the PS3 and Jayden has been on the computer for the last hour flicking through youtube video's.. Please don't be another obsession! I swear this kid is his dad all over LOL looks, acts, thinks just like his daddy. That's why it's so nice to have a mumma's boy in the house even if he has been sooky and clingy all day :) DF likes to tell me it's only because I have boobies and once he gets older and stops breast feeding he will change over to the dark side hahaha.

Upidatydoo..sorry ABC really gets in ya head!

WHO'S EXCITED??

ME ME ME! Toy Story 3 comes out in less then 1 week :) I joined a funny facebook page the other day.."Move out of the way children I've been waiting 11 years to see Toy Story 3.." How true is it.. This movie has been a long time coming and I can't wait to go watch it with DF and the kids :)

Recently we went up to the Gold Coast for 10 days to visit family and friends. It was a suprise visit and we only decided on going the morning of the day that we left so it was kind of a suprise to us too lol. We had lots of fun.. My beautiful friend Belynda held a scrap night for me the same day we arrived so I was running on overdrive but it was lots of fun and I finally got to meet some gorgeous ladies that I had been dying to catch up with *MWAH* girls you are a blast. My DF took me to Dracualrs for the first time :) It was a great dinner and show and if you haven't been before you should definatly think about going.. Not much else has been happeing. We have people coming to do our lawns on Monday as our Mower has been broken and we needed a part ordered in and believe me Its a jungle out there haha. On Wednesday we are taking Squishy to see the kidney specialist and find out whats happening with them but hopefully all is well now. Good News I made it through to the next round of 'Embelish It' and they have just put the next challange up so I am going to go think of some ideas :)

But first here is another layout I wanted to share..

LAYOUT ALERT!! Embelish It - week 1

Finally some layouts to share.. I have taken over the kitchen in the process LOL

First up is the layout I completed yesterday for week 1 of the 'Embelish It' Competition.. You can see all the entries HERE.. The layout had to have the following: Handmade Embelishment, Paint, Stitching, Doodiling, 3x pattern papers and intresting ways to do your title and journaling..

I had a heap of fun making this and getting paint everywhere :) I used a wire mesh that I had and rolled paint over the top for the blue paint in the background and the black paint on the yellow circle. I did some zig zag stitching in yellow along the bottom of the layout and my doodling is around all the blue circles. I cut the large 'A', speech bubble and some shapes out using my cricut (see baby I do use it sometimes haha) and I inked around the edges. I used buzz and bloom pop art alpha's for Jayden's name and Batman is chipboard lettering I got at my LSS I will have to get the brand of them :) Results will be up tomorrow so I can't wait to see if I make it to the next round!!

MASON IS 6 MONTHS TODAY!!!!!

Yes I can't believe it my little Squishy is already 6 months old.. Seriously where does the time go? He is such a little cutie..

He loves to feed himself.. I cant wait to do a layout on photo's I have taken of him eating an oreo LOL messy! He currently weighs 8.5kgs and is 69cm long.. He has definatly outgrown the 00 jumpsuits hehe. He says Mum and Bub and tries to say alot of other things but its all mumbo jumbo at the moment :) He gets up on his hands and feet and hold himself there for ages.. He is yet to figure out how to go forward but he gets himself around the room backwards just fine. He is loving his toys at the moment.. Sofie the giraffe and a coloured dinosaur that was Jayden's when he was a bub and loved it just as much. He is definalty a smoocher and loves snuggiling which is just beautiful :)

He adores his big brother. I was trying to get a photo this morning (on this shocking overcast day) but he didn't want a bar of me.. Just loves his brother!

I have another layout to share and a heap of photo's but I will do another post tomorrow.. Poor neglected blog LOL I sound like a broken record :)

Better clean the kitchen and move myself back into the scrap room.. Or as Jayden calls it "Your stuff room" hehe love it!

Loving Crochet

Hi Bloggers,

Wow this week has gone super fast! On Monday my gorgeous Squishy turned 5 months old.. He is just beautiful and so placid.. he loves taking in everything around him and is always staring at us with his big blue eyes. Thursday afternoon I was cooking dinner and Squishy was in the cot when we heard it.. His first word.. "Mumma" I was pretty excited as I had thought it would be 'Dad' which he is also so close to saying. Jayden has been determined all week to get him to say "Mik Mik Iron Man" LOL I think he will be waiting a little while for that one.

I am totally spinning out at how smart my little man is.. Jayden just knows so much and learns extremely fast. He never stops talking and loves to think he is incharge of us all. One constant question I get asked is "Mum, Do you love me?" with which I always reply "Of course I love you". He helps out all the time and is always looking after his brother with such care.. I am so proud and lucky :) He tried to stay up the other night to watch all of Batman on TV but he didnt quiet make it.. Of course I had to get it for him to watch the next day..

On Monday I took some photo's of Mason in his tummy tub.. most of them he had his hands in his mouth.. he is still teething alot and you can now see his second tooth about to break through right next to the first one..

So I havent got much scrapping done but I have been doing a fair bit of Crocheting.. I have made lots of flowers and almost finished 2 cupcakes.. I made a butterfly and I am just about to add the ears to a bear beanie I made today.. Below is a tiny premmie beanie I made I think its adorable and hopefully one day I will have the pleasure of using it in photography..

Well it's getting pretty late and I still have a bit of creating to do before I hit the pillow.. My man has worked the last 3 nights and still has 2 to go. They built a new village out the road for the elderly which my Nan will be moving into next week but for this week they have guards out there so my bed will be pretty cold and lonely :( Rob really likes this photo of him and Squishy so I thought I would share it <3

Long time no post :( This is just a quick one to show everyone that my adorable little Squishy has a TOOTHY PEG YES!! I am not joking he eats like there is no tomorrow and I knew he had been teething for quiet a while now but I couldnt believe it last Saturday when this little white peg just popped through :) Oh I am wishing and hoping he doesnt have any come through the top for a while as I am still breastfeeding and really enjoying it.. So I know I only seem to be posting photo's latley but that is what I am focusing on at the moment :) This week hasn't got off to a good start in our household.. Jayden has been very sick with a viral infection im talking crying all the time, shaking, boiling, vomiting, more crying.. Poor thing I feel so helpless :( We took him to the hospital and the Doctor had a quick look and said all we can do is keep up his fluids and panadol and nurofen.. NOT FUN! Here is my sad little man..

And here is my happy little Squishy.. I am really happy with these shots and proud of myself for learning new things..

Well I now have about 4 layouts half completed on my desk and the desk is so messy its turning me off sitting down and scrapping LOL.. Hopefully I get to it tonight after I cook, feed and bath my kidlets. Happy Tuesday Everyone xx

Squishy Update!

Thought I would do a little update on baby Mason Kale

4 months old!! Growing way too fast!

Weight: 7.8kgs
Length: 66cm

Favorite Foods: Mixed vegies, Caramel Custard, Baby cereal and arrowroot biscuts.. He is such a little piggy every time he finishes off his food he sits there and throws himself back and starts crying at me..

Favorite Song: Pop goes the weasle
Favorite Toy: Hmm Mum's hair!

He also loves pulling himself up to the sitting position.. no matter how you are holding him or where he is he always wants to sit up..

Favorite Activities: Jolly jumping, Baby Swing (LOL attached to the clothes line, bit annoying when your trying to hang out clothes and the line is swinging all over the place), Playing with Daddy and Jayden (what is it with boys? Mum's can be fun too!), Shopping!!.. Ok maybe not so true.. I pop him in the carrier and he usually falls asleep but hey he still enjoys it :)

Well better go to bed.. Squishy will no doubt be awake soon.. He isin't well at the moment we both have tummy bugs :( Waking up every hour is not fun!

My little man had his 3rd birthday party on Sunday it was wonderful and he was very excited :) He couldnt decide if he wanted spiderman, batman or superman for his cake so he was spoilt and got all 3 of them :) My aunty did a great job..

Thats about all thats been happening in my little neck of the woods.. My little squishy turned 4 months on Saturday. I can't believe how fast he is growing :( too too fast!! We went in and got him weighed and he is 7.8kgs! Big healthy boy and I am so smitten with him <3

My little man turned 3 today!! I can't believe it.. has it really been that long? Aww he makes me so proud and he is just so grown up and learning and taking in everything around him.. What did I ever do to deserve such an amazing child?

Happy Easter & ATC Share

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter =) We had a nice relaxing day yesterday with a yummy roast and lots of chocolate!! The Easter Bunny hopped right through our house leaving prints everywhere..

A cheeky little man by the name of Jayden Vance rip roared into all the choccys and had to open them all at once..

How cool does he look in his new batman pj's.. Has to have a cape of course..

Baby Mason enjoyed his first easter :) Didn't much know what was going on but he was a happy little bub as always and didnt mind wearing his bunny ears hehe...

We had the usual egg hunt out the back.. This year we saved it for the afternoon and it gets more and more fun watching Jayden each year searching for the eggs.. Can't wait for next year when we have both our boys searching together <3

I have so many more easter photo's but saving them for layouts :) I also have two layouts and a book going at the moment which need some finishing touches.. Hopefully I will have them uploaded soon.

Utes in the Paddock...Huh!?.... What??

Well as the title says, last week Rob, the boys, my brother and I went for a bit of a drive out near Condo to go see "Utes in the paddock". I first heard about this a few weeks ago when I went out one night.. People where going on about these utes in a paddock.. I was thinking WHAT? A bunch of utes lying around in a paddock.. whats so bloody intresting about that??. Then last weekend my friend Tegs mentioned it again.. Her and her family went out and seen the utes in the paddock. Well it got the better of me.. I wanted to see these utes in the paddock people were talking about.. and so we did...

10 weeks!!

Wow the time has gone so fast.. I just wanted to share some new pics. I have recently figured out what I want to be when I grow up.. If you havent already guessed it's a photographer :) I know I have alot of learning and studying ahead of me but you have to start somewhere and lots of practice makes perfect!! A wonderful friend and photographer Leanne has given me some good tips and pointers and headed me in the right direction. I am so excited and love learning new things each day. I took these photo's last night after bub had a bath.. I much rather take photo's in natural light but I was just having a play and they are quiet cute :)

Anywho Happy 10weeks to my gorgeous baby boy!

22 Years Old!

Yepp, It was my Birthday yesterday and I am no longer 21 :( Sad I know but 22 is going to be a good year for me! My day started off with Rob and our boys.. We went shopping and then went and had a yummy caramel mocha and Jayden's left over ice'd chocolate mmm!! Meanwhile my wonderful brother and sister cleaned my house and decorated it with gorgeous balloons, streamers and happy birthday signs not to mention the GIANT blue balloon on my letterbox haha.. The tears started before I even stepped inside so you can imagine I was blown away!

We had yummy homemade hamburgers for lunch and then this beautiful cake my brother and Sister were up making till 4am lol but doesnt it look AWESOME and it was made from scratch!!

Touch the bottom and kiss the closest boy.. Of Course!

It was a great birthday and we also went out for dinner which was lovely :)

I better share a photo of the boys as I havent put a post up for ages ( Sorrrrry ) I don't even know what has been keeping me so pre ocupied but the days come and go so quickly I can't keep up..

Aren't they so perfect.. I feel so blessed. Mason had his first check up on Monday and the Doctor was very happy with his stats.. He done a graph thing on his computer and Bub is just charging along the top line growing spot on :) Doctor was happy with me too :) Yay! We also had Mason's ultrasound yesterday to have his kidneys checked unfortunatly the left one is still enlarged but we have to wait to hear from the doctor in the next few days. Hopefully it will just be monitored and fix itself up.

Okay here is a little video of my chubby bubby giving his big gorgeous smiles.. Ignore my silly talking lol I sound like an idiot but you get that :)

Update..

Hi Bloggers,
Let me start by saying I HATE ANTS!! We are being invaded here and its driving me insane :( We have put ant powder all around the outside of the house, the doorways etc and they still bloody come in! Another downer our aircon motor blew up last week.. Seems a few have been in the area because the heat has just been crazy. I stayed at dads for a few nights with the boys as it was too hot but thankfully it rained yesterday and today has just been beautiful :) We had it under warranty so hopefully we get it fixed this week.

It was my little brothers 17th Birthday yesterday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN its strange when your younger siblings reach a level where they could pass for the same age as yourself or even older LOL

My boys are going great :) My little dream baby is still so wonderful.. He has started being much more alert and looks at you as though he is taking in every word you say. He sleeps where ever you put him and he just loves playing in the bath. Big brother Jayden is doing well back at school now and loving it.. Mummy is loving it too LOL that little break is fantastic and he comes home in such a great mood!

Nothing to show yet for scrapping but im working on it and I do have some more photo's to share in the mean time :)

The last one is so super cute :) and I also really love the second one that shows Mason's adorable little swirl.. Cant wait to scrap that one ;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2010 is here.. I wonder what it has in store for us all :)

Well seen as we are waiting till bub is a bit bigger before we go get some professional photo's I decided I would try to do some nice ones myself and I am really happy with the way they turned out :)

And this would have to be my favorite shot.. I simply melt when I see this photo :)

I took a million more as you can imagine but these are a few of the best ones.. Anywho I hope everyone is off to great start of 2010. Things are starting to get back to normal here and I hope to share some scrapping again real soon :) Might even attempt a layout tonight!!

Mason Kale Duffill

Finally getting around to doing a blog post :)

On the 17th December we welcomed our baby boy into the world

Mason Kale Duffill

It was a wonderful experience and nothing like my previous c-section.. The doctors had me laughing and enjoying every moment!

I was so excited for Jayden to meet his new baby brother and from the second he layed eyes on him he has been smitten.. He just loves to kiss and cuddle him and he is so gentle <3>

Mason has been a dream baby.. such a good sleeper and feeds really well. I am recovering well too.. So much faster then the first time and I think they have done a much better job with stitching me up this time. I havent had any trouble and im feeling great :) So good to finally have this much wanted baby boy in our arms..

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!! I have loads more pics to share and hopefully can get back on here soon for another update xox

Thankyou everyone for the love and well wishes.. We head off for the hospital in the morning and then bub should be here close to 8am on Thursday!! Here are some pics my sister took of us this arvo.. My Little Man

Hi Everyone,

I am so not in the mood for scrapbooking lately.. Our 2nd baby boy could be arriving anytime now and all I wanna do is bizare cleaning like scrubbing windows and bathrooms etc Stuff you dont normally do all that often LOL. Anyways my little man had his christmas concert last night and WOW im just so proud of him. He stood up there and sang all the songs and did all the actions. He was just so beautiful and yes I had to hold back the tears.. He is getting SO big now, I just wish I could put a hold on him because every time I turn around he is doing something new and looking so much more grown up. This is my favortie photo from yesterday.. Its not a very "cute" look but while the older kids were singing he asked "take a photo of me mum" and well this is the face he gave me and I think he was still talking but his face is just so gorgeous :)

Here are the photo's of him in action LOL It was hard to try and get some of him as he was sitting amoungst the other kids but then all of a sudden he stood up.. Must have known mum would be there trying to snap away :)

Of course he had to get his face painted as spidey (his favorite superhero atm). He even has a Christmas Spiderman shirt on LOL

A Digi Layout!

Less then 4 weeks to go!

Only 27 days till we meet our little christmas angel.. I have some beautiful christmas paper all ready to go for a welcome home layout :) I feel like I am carrying a baby elephant and this elephant moves ALOT! My feet, ankles and face have swollen up big time so thankfully there isint far to go. Here is a preggy pic.. We had to take it inside today because its just way too hot outside (45 degrees) but you can definatly see that he has dropped and is not longer up under my ribs :). He is making alot of fuss too.. Arms and legs flying all around LOL

I've made it through to round 5!!

WooHoo! Im so happy to have made it though to round 5 of the 'Embelish This' Competition.. Here is my entry from round 4..

It didn't actually turn out the way I had imagined in my head.. It started out to be a newborn canvas which was going to have little ducks etc but then I seen this photo and well it kind of just came together like this. The challenge this week was to combine 2 other crafts with scrapbooking. The crafts I used were the canvas and painting, Patchwork (the stitching of my paper onto the canvas) and my favorite was Paper Mache.. I cut out my own flowers using cardstock and then layered them with ripped up newspaper :)

ATC's & Me

Well first of all I want to say YIPPPPPIE!!

I made it through to the next round of the 'Embelish This' Competiton! Now we are up to round 4 and its going to be a tough one :) Wish me luck.

Next I wanted to share some ATC's.. This one is for a free swap up on the gold coast..

Halloween theme ATC swap over at Young Scrap Birds :)

These little babies had me worried.. I sent them to mum last month and they took almost 3 weeks to arrive :O I was so glad when she called to tell me they had finally made it. I think the posty must have put them in the wrong box as it had a 'return to sender' sticker on it. Im just happy they turned up safe and sound, I broke my back making these LOL

I cant believe it.. Less then 6 weeks to go!! We have another ultrasound on Monday to see how bub is doing.. he has had a few big growth spurts and is definatly not measuring under size anymore LOL.. They also like to keep an eye on his kidneys to make sure they are alright and my fluids needs to have a check aswell. Oh the last few weeks are a pain in the bum but it will all be over soon :)

New Layout

Hi everyone, Here is my latest layout I made for the week 3 'Embelish This' competition over at Scrap 'N' Craft with T!

This week we had to use the colours from the Melbourne Cup logo, black, white, hot pink and teal and had to create an intresting background with 3 different elements to it.. I layed the black netting over a plain teal background and painted over it with black paint to give it the dotted effect.. Then I sanded over the paint to bring through the lighter teal and some extra texture. I did some hand sewing at the bottom and then scrunched and folder the netting and stapled it to the background. We also had to use Fabric, Feathers and Bling. One annoying thing about the heat is my letters keep on wanting to peal off :(

The BIG 18 and A little fun :)

9 weeks to go! + My little artist in the making!

Thats right! Only 9 weeks to go! We had an ultrasound on Tuesday and I am soooo happy to say that our little belly bean is doing wonderful. One of his Kidneys has returned to normal size and the other is still a little on the larger side but they wont be sending us off to Sydney * huge sigh of relief* He is also breech again, little bugger with his head way up under my right ribs and his bum sitting over my cervix. OUCHY!! Yesterday I was getting some terrible pains and contractions but today he has been good :) Here is my latest preggy pic.. not bad for a hold out and click LOL

I have only scrapped a few ATC's recently but today I wanted to share with you my little artist in the making and what he has created :)

Yepp his own little set of ATC's :) The dinosaur set..

What a clever little man.. He was so proud of them and I have given him his own folder so when im scrapping he can come in and do some scrapping too :)

We have gone back to it being like winter here and have the heater on most the time.. Whats going on with this weather.. Anywho I better go start on dinner.. Stay Safe everyone xxx

Small Update

Just a small update from me.. Had my anti d shot today and then a doctors appointment. We have a ultrasound booked in for next Tuesday to see how the little one is going in there and sadly if things havent changed it looks like we might be heading to Sydney to have him delivered. The Doc said this is because he could have some breathing or other problems when he comes out and Sydney is the best place to be incase that happens. Also just wanted to share the two ATC's I made while we were up at the GoldCoast...

Home Again

Well after a long 24 hours trying to make flights home through the dust storms we finally made it.. My poor fiance was stuck at the airport for hours and hours from Tuesday night till Wednesday night and in the end they flew us from Gold Coast to Melbourne and then to Canberra. Now onto the good stuff here is a photo of me with my new neice Savannah-Rose when she was just a day old.. Such a treasure :)

Unfortunatly on her first night home she had some trouble breathing and turning black and was put into special care for a week.. I went for a visit a few days before they were allowed home and took some beautiful photo's..
During the week Mum and I entertained the boys. They had such fun together, these photo's were taken at the park while they played with the water bubbler..
We were originally only staying for a week but ended up staying for almost two so we could spend more time with the whole family and have lots of cuddles with baby Savannah-Rose, you honestly forget how small they are.. With only 12 weeks to go before our little bundle arrives I'm not sure im ready lol. This pregnancy is going way too fast and there is still so much to be done before bub gets here. Anywho here is some photo's of the 3 cousins together.. Of course it never works the way you want it to but I think they are gorgeous all the same :)
Ok I have Jayden hanging off my arm asking me to come to bed.. He is not well which means he is all sooky and cuddly and Daddy has gone to work for the night. Wishing everyone well and loads of hugs and kisses xxx

Our little Acrobat!

Hi everyone,

Well here is the news.. Both Mason's kidneys are fluxuating between being really big and average.. We think he has a kink in his tube and thats whats causing it. Nothing can really be done from here untill he is born and then they will carry out the proper test.. They are still functioning fine which is the main thing and hopefully by the time he is born they will have sorted themselves out. He is perfect size and super active.. He also has lots of calsium in his bones so the sonographer told me. No wonder he is so bloody active LOL.. Here is a little pic of our Acrobat :) xx

When he zoomed out and I seen this I almost wet myself laughing and the sonographer made the comment "well they have to do something to take up the time". Now you all know why I can't get to sleep at night LOL xx

My little man is growing up so so fast he is already 28 months old! The other day I couldnt resist but to snap some pictures of him sleeping like I use to when he was little.. Oh yes he will always look adorable when he sleeps :)

and At the park last week I asked DF to take my 21 week pregnancy shot.. I was actually suprised when I got home to find that the one I liked the best is blury.. I just love it..

Here is another Layout.. This one was looking completely different and at the last second I scrapped what it use to look like and changed it to this :) The sun isn’t very cooperative today.. Every time I went to take a photo it was like flicking a light switch on and off. Maybe I will be able to get a better shot in the morning..

Oh here we have one very spoilt little boy.. My Nan and Pop went to Brisbane show this week and brought Jayden back a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle showbag plus a huge container of fairyfloss!!

Df wasnt here to take a pic of my belly on Friday so I did it myself :) Mason is getting way to active for my liking. He just loves to kick me as much as possible and trying to scrapbook or go on the computer can be very annoying!

Hmm not much else happening in this household.. Been doing some gardening and brought some tomato plants. Have a doctor appointment on Friday and then to see the midwife straight after that. Still 2 and a half weeks until we can know how Mason's kidney is doing but Im sure he is ok in there.. Every time I feel down he has a way of showing me he is fine :) Anywho might go get some more scrapping done.. More ATC's to complete and I have no idea what layout I plan on doing. Mason and a New LO

Hi Everyone,
I finally have a new LO to share but first I want to share some news about my little boy.. I was so very excited this morning when I woke up and put my hand on my tummy.. I could feel Mason kicking on the outside so I called out to Rob to come feel and he did :) He gave daddy three big kicks :) Not long after that we recieved a call from our doctor, She has the ultrasound results and they show that Mason's right kidney is larger then usual. We have another ultrasound in 3 and a half weeks to get it checked again. I am just wishing and hoping so much that he will be okay. I know I shouldnt worry until we know for sure what is wrong but it is IMPOSSIBLE not to worry when you get told something like that! Here is a video of my little baby boy and you can all see just how squished he is getting in there...

I have forgotten what else I was going to talk about so i will just share my latest LO for now..

And here is a photo I took the other day of Jayden when i was playing with my new camera..

Thanks to everyone who played along.. I know the middle name was a tricky one and impossible to guess lol. It was Avery but we have since changed it and finally found the one we are keeping :)

In other news.. I am actually scrapping tonight :O.. shock horror LOL and you can blame little belly bean for that as I havent been getting much sleep at night time. His wriggles are turning into pretty big kicks now and of course it has to be full on at midnight :)

Small update & Guessing Game

Hi everyone, So i think being pregga's has got my mojo levels at about 1% :( So sorry but no scrapping to share just yet. If anyone has any solutions to finding mojo please let me know :)

I just wanted to share some recent piccys of me and my man.. also my new do!

And of course the new video of our adorable little baby.. I went in today for the 18 week ultrasound but bub is measuring only 17w3d which isint much off but he postponed the U/S for two weeks so it will be easier to do what he has to do by then :) Bruce is his name and he is the most awesome sonographer out there and he gave me this video today for free.. how sweet!

Don't be fooled by the lazy expression.. this bubba likes to mooove late at night! Anyone have any sleeping rhemedys?

Hi everyone,

I have been wanting to share my pregnancy journal with you but the weather is never right for photography around here. I managed to grab these shots but the 6w page is still a little dull. Anywho it isint filled in yet but I do have my photo's and journaling ready to go just haven't had time to catch up latley. We have also picked the names out for our baby. If a boy then we have picked Mason and If its a little girl we have picked Melanie.. Just the middle names to go lol. I am 16 weeks on Friday and only 3 and a bit weeks until our next ultrasound :) yesss this is the one where you can find out the sex and I really really want to LOL.

And this is for everyone who keeps asking me for some belly pics :)

:( Hello, we are all so sick here. A stupid chest infection has got a hold of us and it just wont go away. I could put up with it but when my little man got sick I headed down and got some medicine and some nose drops. He keeps asking if he can have a sleep lol arn't kids just so cute when they are sick hehe. I think he will be ok within a day or so but unfortunatly he had to miss out on pre school today and tomorrow :(

Spidey Man

Hello Friends,

Just wanted to share some photo's of the cutest spider man I ever did see :)

We had a new woolies open up here and it is hugo mungus.. So big and roomey just love it. Anyways out the front they had a lady doing face painting and Jayden would simply not leave until he had his face painted with spider man. So.. we waited about an hour in the line and then he was so very good and sat still the whole time. Then he come home and wanted his spider man clothes on. Isint he just adorable :)

Today was Jayden's first day at preschool day care and he had so much fun.. He went at 9am and was happy to say goodbye :) They said they would call if he was upset and after about 2 hours I got a phone call saying when they sat down to have morning tea he got a little upset. I thought that might be enough for his first day so I went and picked him up and he was happily playing in the sand out the back. He said goodbye to the other kids and "seeya morrow". He is going again tomorrow and I know slowly he will get use to it :) We have him going on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and I think it will be really good for him. Here is some pics of Jay before day care this morning..

Belly Bean 13 weeks

Hii,

Yay I managed to get an okay photo of a LO I did a few days ago.. Its a bit of a rude pic but I just love it to bits :)

Went and had the 13 weeks ultrasound yesterday.. Bub is just great and measuring a fraction smaller then the average but he assured me that is great news. Total different personality then what Jayden had at this stage. This little one was very quiet and really didnt want to be disturbed lol. I also think they look very different Jayden was long and more pointy in the face and this little one is shorter and more curvey. It was a great scan we got to watch for ages and it is just awesome to be assured everything is going great and bub is great :)

After the ultrasound yesterday we got to go shopping :D.. And wow was I spoilt!

Finally a good Vacum cleaner and its bagless WOO!

I needed a mixmaster badly.. I have been cooking alot latley and I am so sick of using the hand blender lol :)

And and and.. Sims3... I have wanted this for ages now.. I played all last night hehe. It is fun and the graphics look so much clearer and you can customise the characters alot more :)

I was not the only one who got spoilt though ....

Yupp I gave in lol.. but hey "it is for research purposes" bahahahaha! We went and hired some blue ray movies last night (including twilight) and OMG they are so clear and amazing. I didnt think you could get a picture so clear.

Anyways I must go finish filling out some paperwork.. My little man is starting day care at pre school on Tuesday. I am so excited for him but nervous at the same time.. I hope he goes alright without me which I am sure he will :) He will be doing two mornings a week there with the other 2yro so I am sure he will have lots of fun.

Howdy Friends,

It has been a while since I blogged and that is only because I can't take any photo's for you :(
I haven't seen the sun for aboout 2 weeks here lol. I took a little pic of some ATC's I made as I had to send them off. I have been scrapping alot latley just haven't been able to get the pics.

We snapped this one the other night just lounging about in the warm :)

Oh looky.. Just what a pregnant girl needs LOL .. I got some weird food cravings going on.. My favorite at the moment is vegimite, cheese and mustard pickles on toast mmmm mm!

Here is a pic of my noisy little poke in his new Buz Lightyear flannys.. How spoilt! He is half asleep here and this is his attempt at a smile for me hehe.

We have another ultrasound on Wednesday so can't wait and hopefully get another dvd :) Pregnancy is going well for me now.. MS has stopped almost completly.. just tired mostly but enjoying every second of it. Not alot happening around here as it is sooo cold. We got some new fishies yesterday.. A black one, orange one, pink one and a sucker fishy. Jay absolutly loves them and he even picked them out himself. Df has just been working and OMG some of the things people do... This guy took his 4/5 year old child down town on Friday night and let her out of the car to run outside the pub screaming for her mother! This is between midnight and 4am! Anyways all is well here going to go get back to my scrapping and I just made a delish stir fri :) yuuummmy. Have a good one xxx

We got to see our precious little one for the first time today and awww it was a great scan the guy who did it was fantastic and talked us through everything. Pregnancy is going great everything is on the right track and bub is perfect size :) Now for something special...

I can't actually believe we got a video. We were so over the moon and you can see our little belly bean sucking a thumb and kicking about. Aww soo cute my eye's are welling up just talking about it. Another scan in 2 and a half weeks :) YAY can't wait! xoxox

Hunny I'm Home..

We are back home again after our lovely short break away. My poor neglected blog really needs a spruce up :) We headed up to QLD for the weekend and I headed off to Warana retreat while DF and DS stayed at mums house sick with the flu :( poor darlings. Warana was a blast... I finally got to relax and do some scrapping for ME. I feel alot of my scrapping latley is a because I have to type thing as I had signed up for so many swaps but it felt wonderful to be surrounded by such awesome scrappers and just scrap away for a whole 3 days. I wont share all my layouts today as some are not finished and I need to get some better pics of the others. It has been all overcast here so the light isint being any help...

After the retreat we went and stayed with friends for 2 nights. It was great fun and good to catch up. We hadn't seen them since we moved from the goldcoast. Tash is also pregnant so we talked mostly about the babies :) She gave me a stack of newborn modern cloth nappies which I just adore. Thanks so much sweetie xx Rob had fun talking games with Si and Aislinn and Jayden played the whole time. They are only one week apart so both 2 and full of energy :)

I have my first scan on Tuesday.. We are super excited and can't wait to see bub. The pregnancy is going well, feeling alot of morning sickness but not too bad. Mainly feeling tired and emotional lol like crying at just about any movie I watch haha. Anywho I hope everyone is safe from all this horrible weather.

Happy Mothers Day 4 Yesterday

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to wish you all a happy mothers day for yesterday. I hope you all were greatly spoilt. We started by doing the rounds and delivering mothers day goodies to my Mum, Nan and great nanna. We then went out for a beautiful lunch and then on to play some bets on the horses and dogs. All was well until I lost my engagement ring!!! I was in major panic mode and we drove around to everywhere we had been that day searching for it. Turns out it came off in my sleep and it was nestled under my pillow :) what a relief! I was just so use to it being there I didnt notice it was gone and there is no way it could come off without me feeling it! Later my boys and I snuggled down and watched some movies and I got my mothers day gifts, It was so beautiful my little man actually giving me my gifts this year and DF said he even picked them out which is just adorable. Anywho on top of all that I had the worst MS last night I could barely move but DF and I watched "He's just not that into you" OMG its is an awesome movie. I am so emotional since becoming a mum and I bloody cried for half the movie LOL it is so cute. You all have to watch it!

Today I better get my but into gear and pack for my trip to Warana.. I only really have today as tomorrow I will be with mum getting our hair done etc and Wednesday I have to drive her back to Canberra then Thursday we leave :) :) Hope you all have a great week and hopefully I will have lots of scrapping for you soon. I just haven't been feeling to well and I have done a few things like mothers day cards some ATC etc but I didn't get around to taking pics :( Sorry xx

Some BIG news!!

Well we finally did it.. We are expecting our 2nd little miracle Due on the 25th of December.. YES Christmas day lol. We are so so excited as we have wanted this for soo long and after 19 months of trying you can only guess how happy we are :)

There it is the 2 little lines that have changed our world all over again. Jay is a very happy little boy when I ask him what are we having for lunch he replies " baby have lunch too" He is very smart indeed. So I am almost 7 weeks and I know this pregnancy is just going to go so fast. Not that I want it too, I very much enjoy being pregnant but I absolutly can't wait to have another little bub join our family :)

I just hope it is as the weather forcast says "mostly sunny" at the moment it is minus a million here. Autum just showed up out of nowhere. I must admit it is really beautiful though all the lovely yellow leaves around. I am really loving our yard here :)

Last week when we were out at my Grandparents we seen their 3 new paint horses. They are so beautiful. My heart melted when we seen them as they havent had horses for years and finally they have them again.

Anywho.. We are off to $12 roast night at the RSL.. Can't wait to share some zoo piccys xxx

Howdy Friends

Finally on Monday we will have the internet back up and running at home but I thought I ought to do a post since it has been forever..
So first of all, on the 7th April it was my little man’s 2nd birthday.. He had a great day in between all the moving and got loads of presents. We are taking him to the zoo on Monday as part of celebrating his birthday because we were just so busy back and forth most of the day.

I hope everyone had a brilliant Easter. As always it was raining and miserable but that doesn’t matter when you have a backyard full of chocolate does it. The Easter bunny hid eggs all over our backyard this year, In between the play gym and under the trampoline, up in tree’s EVERYWHERE!

We spent good Friday at the camel races :) It was fun to watch. They are nothing like the horses the Camels run from side to side it just cracks ya up.

Friday night dad and I went to the club for a few hours while rob stayed home with Jayden waiting to go to work. As usual the drinks were ridiculously priced and the pokeys stole all my money and wouldn’t even give me a smidgen back :)

Here is a picture of your newest edition.. Her name is Zoey and she is the complete opposite to Banjo she is just so sweet and quiet and he is a big rat bag.

Anywho that is probably enough yabbering on for one day. I just have two new pages I’d like to share.. YES would you believe in between all the moving I actually squeezed in time to do two LO's. They are both pages for Song bird scraps.. I was asked to be a guest designer there this month and I was more then happy :)

I actually completed a LO last night lol.. Its kind of a big deal for me latley completing something. The house is a right off. We are in the middle of packing and there is s%*t just everywhere :)

So we went to Auction this morning.. and we WON! I am over the moon I tell ya... It was the most nerve racking thing I have ever done I was shaking and my heart rate was through the roof.. It was the cutest thing when I put my hand up for the final offer Jayden walked out into the middle of everyone and let out a big HAHA.. Like he knew it was ours LOL.. Everyone was laughing it was so cute. Here are a few photo's of our new home.. We move into it in 28 days :)

Flashback

I thought I would do another flashback of this day a year ago. So here is my photo's of Jayden playing with daddy when he was 11 months old, Just a quiet night at home :)

If anyone else would like to have a go and find a photo closest to this day a year ago let me know I'd love to have a look.

Also I just wanted to share how very clever my little man is getting.. He now goes to the potty all by himself with no help. All he needs to learn now is to put his pants back on afterwards. He is also getting so smart with his talking and its not just one word anymore but actual sentences. I think his favorite food atm is "ice blocks" and he always manages to add the "please mum". Anyways off for our nightly walk around the lake. So proud of myself I have lost 15kgs since Christmas. GO ME!! xx

Home again home again. Well hopefully this wont be my home for very much longer. Auction is this saturday :D How exciting :D!! Had a relaxing time out the farm I did a bit of scrapping

I had 4 goats kid and had some trouble with the last one. She had one kid and then that was it I couldnt feel anything else and all her afterbirth came out. I had a feeling something was wrong with her though and I wished I had called the vet to come out sooner. Anyways I called my grandparents and when they got home my nan had a feel and she had another kid still stuck inside her. It had been 24 hours since she had kidded and my Nan couldnt pull the other kid out so the vet drove out last night and did a c-section. She has some infection but hopefully she will be alright.

We also went yabbying but didnt catch anything LOL but they were in there the little buggers.

I have been tagged by the lovely Shaz to do the photo challenge but with a bit of a twist so I have to find the first folder starting with "S" and then find the 19th photo which is the corresponding number of the alphabet for "S". So my darling here it is :

HAHAHA.. Thats me! Oh so many years ago with 2 beautiful horses Zac and Coco.

One more thing.. I took these photo's of my little man yesterday again with my dads 4mp camera and I think they have turned out just so so gorgeous. What do you think?

Last Day of being 20

So this is my last day of being 20.. It has been a pretty big year for me lots of moving and changing of lifestyle. I am so thankful to have shared it with the people I love most. Hello Bloggers,

Well the weather here is just friggin insane. We woke up this morning feeling like it was the middle of winter and this time last week it was 43°. So I have had my trackies on all day lol.

I took Jay shopping yesterday and he got some new dinosaur undies, a new pair of wiggles sandals (thinking of changing them for the next size up) and another bag of beans so we could finish filling his elmo beanbag up.. Didn't they end up everywhere haha. He also got a new haircut at the barbers, He was really good and sat still the whole time :) I just snaped some shots out the back...

I also thought i'd post up a pic of the ATC's I made for an ATC swap over at The Stamp Shak

Goodbye Nanna Mary

Yesterday I went to my Nanna Mary's funeral.. I didn't realise I had such a big family and I am glad she had so many people that loved her. She was a wonderful woman always so kind and loving. May she rest in peace.

Hello Friends,

Well my dad has kindly let me borrow his camera. My new lens is going to cost me $400-$500 bucks so it may take me a while to get one. The first thing i did was snap a few shots and i was so pleased to get this photo of Rob and me.. I really love it and I can't wait to scrap it.

Jayden is making us so proud.. He is using the potty so well now. We have been a nappy free household for almost a week. He has a few accidents here and there when he forgets to let us know he needs to go potty but the majority of the time he is brilliant. Not only that he has been having the best sleeps and sleeping all night through in his own bed. He has wet the bed a few times but if we can try not give him any liquids about 2 hours before bed it doesn't happen.

Seen as he has been so good I couldn't resist when i found this gorgeous little russ dragon at the post office yesterday..

He's name is Serpentine.. I brought him home with his head poking out of the bag and as soon as Jay seen him he started going crazy.. "LOOK" "LOOK" "Mum.. mine". He is one happy big boy :)

I hope you had a great Australia Day yesterday. Mine started out in taking my Dad to the hospital.. He isint well at the moment he has bronconeumonia which means he has fluid in his lung and it is causing an infection. He is getting these terrible pains in the head and he has no colour in his face at all. I have never seen him this sick but i am really hoping it goes away soon.

We went to the street parade after lunch and Jayden really enjoyed it..

My cousins decorated their bikes and went in the parade lol we were going to put Jay in there but it was just too hot. He will have to goin next year.

After the parade there were boat races and people went in with their home made boats haha.. First prize is 300 bucks.. So you can bet Rob will probably be making a boat for next year lol

After this the boys went for a swim in the pool and we had a good old aussie bbq with friends :)

The photo's were taking with my video camera so they arn't very high quality but they are better then nothing.

Flash Back

I thought since my camera is broken at the moment i would go back and find some photo's of exactly a year ago today and i am happy to have found some of my most favorite ones :) We were really bored this day and I wanted some new photo's of Jayden and me so Rob took us out the front and snapped away. I just love them and I am yet to scrap them so I better get my butt into gear. Oh and this was the first day Jayden stood all by himself!!

It is so hot here yet again today and i am starting to get this horrible flu that Rob and Dad have had for the past 2 weeks. We found a nice house yesterday that we are really intrested in so hopefully we will get a look through it on Tuesday and *fingers crossed* it is what we are looking for. I am really hoping to get some scrapping done today.. I find it so hard if my scrap place isint tidy so I really need to make a habbit of cleaning it after each time I scrap lol. I have no updates yet on the broken camera but hopefully i can figure it out soon :)

I have absolutly had it with looking for houses :( It's just going to be too much trouble to try and get a new house set up on a block and the house wont come with carpets or fences or lawns or all the plumbing and electricity work done or a water tank.. I think we are going to have to just take a step back and buy a regular house for now maybe do it up a bit then look on to building something later. Plus if we buy an already established house it will hopefully be bigger meaning more room for scrapping YAY lol ok now i have talked myself into doing that i can share my two new pages :)

Hello All,

Home again and looking for a house to buy. Not the weather for it i can tell ya!

Canberra was great, It was so good for Jayden to finally meet his Aunty Caroline and he absolutly loved all of her birds.

OMG does she have some scrapbook stuff its like walking into a shop over there. As you can probably guess i got spoilt rotten :) Thankyou so much Aunty Caroline for all the awesome stuff you gave me I think you have about doubled my stash especially the papers.

Here is the little something i mentioned a few post back that i had made for someone but couldn't show.. It is a bandaid tin i made for mum :)

A little late but here it is Jayden's santa photo lol he doesn't look very happy does he more of a concerned look hehe.

I stayed up till 4am this morning doing 2 new pages which i will upload soon.. We are off for a drive tomorrow to look at some new transportables we are thinking of just buying a new house and putting it on a block :) Can't wait i am so over looking at houses and it has only been a week hopefully tomorrow we can find something we are looking for :)

We are off to Canberra for a few days to visit my Aunty Caroline and my good friend Jade.. Jayden is doing alot better he has a sore throat but he is alot happier and eating and drinking again. I took him to feed the ducks yesterday and get out of the house and he was loving it. I got to take this gorgeous photo of him sitting in the tree..

Sick Again

I just want to say thankyou to everyone who sent Jayden well wishes just before Christmas after a day or two he was back to his happy little self. It upsets me to say that he is now sick again :( He has caught some sort of gastric bug and it is just horrible watching him go through it. One second he will seem alright then the next he is dropped down somewhere with no energy and complaining Oww (which i think is his tummy hurting). We noticed he hadn't really been eating since new years eve and we thought it might have been due to the hot weather on the gold coast. We have been up the hospital a few times and the doctor is really good he is easy to talk to and said we are to take Jayden up anytime we feel we need to. My nephew who is 5 months younger the Jayden has had the same type symptoms and has been at the hospital for the last few days, Lyn called me last night to let me know he had been diagnosed with RotaVirus :( Thankfully yesterday we were able to get a poo sample from Jayden and it should be able to comfirm if he has something similar. I do love all the cuddles i have been getting but i really hope he can get back to his usual self soon.

Home Again

"Happy New Year"
We have arrived home after spending two weeks on the Gold Coast for Chrissy and New Years. It was a great holiday and Jay had loads of fun :) I have tones of photo's and i don't know if i should start with the first or the last of them. I am going to go with the New Years pics first and the rest will probably just be random :)

We went down to Surfers Paradise for the New Years fireworks, Rob started playing in the sand and built Jayden a chair that at first looked like this ...

Then all the family got in and helped..

A morning of tears and no sleep..

I had noticed yesterday arvo that Jay was not feeling too well, he wasn't his usual loud fun little self but instead a sad sooky little boy. He started to burn up and his whole body was hot, at first i thought it was just because it was hot here but then he started waking up every hour getting hotter and hotter. He had been having panadol and at 4am i checked his temperature and it was 39.5.. My dad and I took him down to the hospital and we got there at 5am and we were pretty much sent straight though. Of course by the time we got there the panadol had made his temp go down but he still didnt look very well. The doctors did all the usual test and could see that he had no expressions and was pretty much limp with no energy. He had bloods taken which wasn't very nice as the nurse couldnt get the needle in right and there was blood everywhere, at one point we thought the needle was going to snap in his arm :( He was then put on the drip for about 4 hours to put some sugar back into his body as it was low. The test results didnt really show anything which is a worry and the doctors are worried as to why he has had the fever and went so weak. We are home now after 7 LONG hours in the emergency ward.. I couldn't stay there any longer.. they wanted to keep him for a further 48 hours up in the childrens ward but decided he would be better off at home as there is alot of sickness floating around up there. Fingers crossed that his temperature doesn't rise again and he gets over this (whatever it is) quickly... Here is some photo's i took of my poor little man off my phone camera.

Well, guess how safe my neighbourhood is! I carried Jay inside asleep and put him into bed then i cleaned up a bit and went on the computer. 2 hours had past and i suddenly remembered i had left my wallet and a can of drink on my back spoiler of the car and the back car door was wide open with the nappy bag just sitting there.. OMG.. no one touched it? People go past the house all the time, i couldn't believe no one grabbed my wallet and ran! Not that it had any money in it hahaha.

I completed another LO today.. Woot Woot :)
